Soy Sopheap's Latest Advice to Kem Sokha

It appears that Kem Sokha’s HRP now will have to take some latest advice from Soy Sopheap--an active and famous Cambodian media man who provides commentary and opinion on CTN and Bayon TV. Sopheap also owns Deum Ampil News.

Soy Sopheap is known to be in support of Premier Hun Sen and the CPP. He is not afraid to tell the world that he admires Samdech Decho as the best leader Cambodia has now.

His opinions may help put an end to the possible accord between HRP and SRP. Sopheap blames that it is the battle among the oppositions that make it impossible for them to win against the ruling party.

Many of us may not like what Sopheap has to say, but it is the fact. His suggestion-- unity cannot happen-- echoed what Sam Rainsy had said long ago that the unity can only happen in the clouds. But, without the unity the opposition will remain in disarray and the CPP will enjoy its victory again by landslide.

Soy Sopheap’s advice to Kem Sokha:

Forget about the unity [between SRP and HRP] it cannot happen.

Stop the negotiation process between the two parties; each party should just take care of its own business and compete among themselves.

Kem Sokha should work with other parties rather than SRP.

Ninety percents of Sam Rainsy Party’s signs [in Kg Cham] are brought down.

Soy Sopheap said he has written campaign messages to give them the oppositions to use.

He suggests that everyone [in SRP] should follow Mao Monyvan wherever he goes.
